Brig Johnson Olawunmi, the Director General, National Youth Service Corps has warned the Batch A corps members not to be used as tools by Politicians to rig elections in 2015.
Olawunmi while speaking at the swearing-in-ceremony of the 2014 Batch A corps members in Lagos made this warning to the Corps members who will be used by INEC as adhoc officials during the 2015 elections
He advised them that they should not be carried away with gifts from these politicians who are aspiring for political offices and wants them to rig elections.
“I will not like to hear that any of you have gotten involved with politicians to manipulate the electoral process. Any gift that is not from NYSC, must not be collected.”
“Whatever you need during that period will be provided for by the NYSC and not any politician.” Olawunmi said.
